Good morning Memphis!
We decided to pause on our usual project-related topic this week and simply recap some of the major events of the city...after all; we serve numerous clients in Memphis and think it's important to keep up with these issues. And we love the city!
So, to start off...
Not even the rainfall can stop the Grizz! Go to nba.com/grizzlies and you’ll see the phrase “Let’s make history.” The Grizzlies achievements have been so positive for the city and we can’t wait to see what’s to come. In case you missed it (although we’re sure you’ve heard by now) the team has defeated their way against the San Antonio Spurs to Round 2 of the NBA playoffs. Tickets for games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals sold out in less than 30 minutes! How crazy is that?

Another trending topic is the weather…we think there better be some gorgeous May flowers after all of this rainfall! The Memphis Blog shared a few Twitter handles (thanks!) to follow if you want to receive updates on the flood: @MissRiverFlood and @MemphisDistrict (local Corps of Engineers). The Memphis Blog also posted the hashtag #memflood for more updates on closures, photos, etc. Our prayers go out to everyone affected by the weather.
On a positive note...it’s NOT supposed to rain Wednesday through Saturday (fingers crossed) according to weather.com.
With this, we wish everyone a great week. We’ll be tuned in with you fans tonight for game 2! #goGrizz
