The formerly known Statlink Md came to us with a problem: they were in the process of creating some really extensive, multi-functional products that can be used in a wide variety of industries, but they’ve always been known for their medical services and products. Basically, the problem is this – how do they branch out and drop the “medical only” association?
With this question, came further issues. They didn’t want to drop their medical services (they’ve been a leader in the telemedicine industry globally) but they weren’t sure where to draw the line between this and the other markets. The introduction of a product line not tied to medical usage would probably create utter confusion to potential clients.
So, the simple answer was this: we’d rebrand them and make a plan to smoothly ease them into these new industry markets. As you can imagine, it was a long process, but with much brainstorming and hard work, we came to form an identity they comfortably picked up.

And below is the logo we designed. You’ll see before, they had a symbol that has a medical association. And it’s blue – a color that we found almost ALL medical websites used. We liked how the dark orange looked on the page, how it wasn’t overwhelming, and most importantly, how it was different. As far as the design of the logo, we meshed a few different ideas together. First, it represents a "system in a box" correlating to Statlink's core technology (the product is basically a base system with adjustable elements per clients' needs). The highlighted arrow represents moving and connectivity. Finally, the center "hub" is suggesting the linking of the hub/core technology. If this all seems like foreign language to you, wait until you read about the product system Statlink Systems is about to release - it all ties together.
We’re still helping with the transition of Statlink Md to Statlink Systems. Check back for before and afters of the website we’ll soon be creating. And remember…the way to get good ideas is to get LOTS of ideas, and throw the bad ones away.
